Another dead body has been discovered just a few hours after Interior Minister Ambrose Dery and the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Dr. George Akuffo Dampare visited the Upper West Regional capital, Wa.
The body which was found on the night of September 19 according to reports had some bodily parts including kidneys, heart, and private parts removed suggesting the killings are ritual-related.
This brings the number of bodies found to two.
The lifeless body has since been sent to the Wa Regional Hospital whiles the Police await a team of Pathologists from the Police Hospital to run checks on the body.
Police had earlier arrested Kankani Adongo on 19th September 2022 at Bamahu, a suburb of Wa after extensive collaboration between the Police and community search parties.
The suspect is in custody and will be arraigned before the court to face justice.
Meanwhile, the administration of the Ghana Police Service has placed a bounty of Ghc100,000 for information on individuals who have information that will lead to the arrest of persons involved in the recent killings in Wa.
