Accra Hearts of Oak, winners of the MTN FA Cup, have decided not to renew the contract of their head coach, Samuel Boadu alias Agya Nsia.
The decision was made due to a spate of disappointing performances in the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League as well as the previous season.
In the first three matches of the Ghana Premier League, Boadu has not been successful in guiding Hearts of Oak to a win.
After starting the tournament with a loss to Aduana Stars in Dormaa, he went on to tie against Great Olympics and then Asante Kotoko respectively.
The backroom staff, which includes Boadu’s assistant Hamzah Obeng and goalkeeper’s trainer Eric Amponsah, are also leaving the club alongside Boadu.
